When she signs copies of My First Book of Prayers and The Edible ABC's, she imagines the child who is loved enough to be read to and tucked in at night and wishes the same for all children. Cindy has wishes, or prayers as some prefer to call them, for adults too. Her one-of-a-kind floral wands sprout all sorts of baubles and charms, along with a one-of-a-kind wish. When she isn't writing books, teaching music lessons, or making wands, Cindy creates custom gift baskets for Durrett by filling unique, reusable containers with chocolates and snack mix and cheese.
